W 03 Reflection: Entrepreneurship journal
Article of faith 1:13 said, "We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul . We believe all things, hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things."
Sheri L. Dew suggest seven things that will help us become men and women of integrity that resonates me.
- Decide today, once and for all, that you will be worthy of trust
- Decide today, once and for all, that you will be worthy of trust
- Make covenants and keep them.
- Stand up for what you believe
- Expect your integrity to be challenged
- Don’t give up
- Covenant–or perhaps I should say, renew your covenant–with our Father and His Son to do what you came here to do
My individual learning from this course is that I must stand up for what I believe in and be true to myself and others no matter what challenges I might face. If I stay focus on the Lord, I will be successful in fulfilling what God wants me to do. Honesty in all things is the very essence of the gospel. As an entrepreneur I must understand the importance of being honest in all things.
Elder Lynn G. Robbins said,"What you do to make a living, or how many dollars you earn, aren't nearly as important to the Lord as whether you:
- Are building His kingdom including strong and valiant families.
- Are honest in your dealings with your fellowmen and using your God-given talents in their service;
- and if you are filling your life with good works, that positively impact your community and world.
